My Profile. Advanced Search. Feathers Review by Heather Phares. Track Listing. Let's Jump In. Such Hawks Such Hounds. Get Up on Down. At Her Open Door. Stacy's Song. Let It All Pass. Through the Gales of the Sleepy. Silver Door. Release Date February 22, Feathers, the fourth full-length studio album by Dead Meadow, was the first to include an additional guitar player with Cory Shane.

Previously as well as for the majority of the band's career the DC to LA transplants have been a power-trio in essence. This departure in lineup wasn't the only other noticeable difference, the band was also shifting from pure 60's's heavy psych sounds to a more gentle and layered sound.

This new-psych sound seemed almost more influenced by dark Brit-pop and early new wave bands like the Cure and Stone Roses but all filtered through their own hazy interpretation.
